Belcampo was founded with a purpose: to create meat that’s good for people, planet and animals. What started as one mom’s desire to feed her family the healthiest meat possible became a mission to revolutionize the industry from the inside out. In 2012, the 27K acres that would become Belcampo Farm was purchased. In the years since, we’ve expanded to include our own FDA-approved processing facility, full-service butcher shops, and restaurants serving authentic farm-to-table dining experiences. All this, so that we can own the supply chain and offer our customers total transparency from start to finish.

At Belcampo Farms and Belcampo Butchery, we employ low-stress animal handling practices and we’re Certified Humane so you can always feel confident about the care our animals received. Fun fact? Our processing facility was designed by Temple Grandin.
We practice regenerative agriculture, that means our farms are climate positive and carbon negative. Fun fact? We measured an increase in soil carbon levels from 2013 to 2019, meaning we’re building healthy, fertile soils that sustain and regenerate our land—and the planet.
At Belcampo Farms, our animals graze on open pastures and grow at a slower, more natural pace than conventionally raised animals. The result is meat that is higher in nutrients and healthy fats than conventionally raised alternatives. Good for animals = good for people. Win. Win.
