Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 425˚F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Toss the brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt and pepper.

3. Cut the bacon strips into bite sized pieces. Heat a small pot over medium-high heat. Add the bacon and render out the fat. Continue to cook until the bacon is crispy (or to your preferred doneness.)

4. Strain the bacon out of the bacon fat and set aside.

5. Pour the brussels sprouts onto the pan. The sheet should be large enough to create a single layer.

6. Place the brussel sprouts in the oven and bake for 20 minutes. Until they are fork tender and beginning to crisp.

7. Remove from the oven and transfer the brussels sprouts to a mixing bowl. Season with safe, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
